His Experience & Practice
His clients benefit from his more than 20 years' practical experience - counting from 2001 when he first started work in tax practice.
Since 2008, he tax practices only in his selected areas of tax work, namely Tax Risk & Inquisition Management (TRIM) projects. Specifically, these are his Tax Appeals, Tax Advisories and Tax Documentary & Evidentiary work for taxpayers.
In his above TRIM works, he represents and defends taxpayers in Tax Investigations, Audits, Rulings & Amnesties cases; gives his tax opinion on taxpayers' tax treatments; and handholds taxpayers in their pre-emptive tax risk mitigation and pre-inquisition documentations.
These tax works call on his specialist expertise and attention - namely his forensic-level reviews and representations - to resolve taxpayers' external and/or internal reporting needs.
His collective tax experience is a rare brew of intensive 'tax accounting', 'tax lawyering' and 'tax private practice' experiences. He had tax practiced in the tax practices of - First, an international CPA firm (KPMG) for approximately 7 years; then, a litigation-focused Singapore law firm (Drew & Napier LLC) for approximately 5 years; and presently, in a tax private practice company (Equifis) for more than 5 years, where Equifis' clientele had included MNCs, listed entities, NOC, SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, law firms, accounting firms and other professional firms, amongst others.
His clients and company benefit from having this unique find on their side - one who can draw from his past experiences with 'tax accounting', 'tax lawyering' and 'tax private practice' disciplines-cum-techniques - to advance their needs.
